FABB Review: Derma V10 Light Tinted Eye Roll On with Caffeine

17:00

At the start of July I was very fortunate to receive a goody bag full of Derma V10 goodies from HealthPoint LTD, one of which was the light tinted eye roll on with caffeine which I am going to review today.

I have always wanted to try the Garnier Tinted Eye Roll-on, but for £10 I could never justify the cost since I love my £4 collection concealer so much. Alas, I was gifted this cheaper alternative that retails for £1, yes £1! Amazing.

Like the garnier, this comes in a plastic tube, although much more basic plain white packaging, with a metal roller ball that dispenses the product. This is extremely convenient, not messy and the ball is actually cooling on the eyes as well, which is great when you are tired.

Despite being 'light', the roll on is slightly darker than my skintone however easily blends and helps to correct the darkness under my eyes from far too many late nights on youtube and more recently not getting to bed until 3am due to my cousins wedding. The results on which can be seen in the photograph below, hopefully you can see the difference that this makes - the left being BEFORE and the right being AFTER. I know that in person, the results are extraordinary and near my inner corner in particular there is a vast improvement after using this.

Unlike my Collection concealer, that can occassionally crease under the eyes and that many find too heavy for said use, this is extremely light under the eyes, doesn't crease at all and provides the same great coverage. I also love the application of this as the roller ball is so cooling under the eyes as opposed to the standard doe-foot applicator and that it doesn't take much to blend in this product.

What makes me love this product even more is that it lasts too. It doesnt sweat off in the heat or crease if you wear it too long and actually lasts throughout the day, without claiming to! I think that this makes a mean competitor for my favourite collection concealer as it packs the same punch but at an even cheaper price. The packaging doesn't rub off either! Fabulous.

If you've been wanting to try the Garnier Tinted Roll-on but are a bit tight like me, I urge you to pop to poundland, and put this in your basket and you wont be disappointed!

Have you tried this?

  2. Hi! I wouldn't recommend the Garnier one, it's got a pretty light coverage, and for severe dark circles I would only use the Garnier one as sort of a concealer primer. I would advise you to stick with this one! Great post, by the way! x
