Cetaphil Skin Restoring Body Wash Review*

14:50

I am somebody who occasionally suffers with redness and irritation with my skin and also experiences dryness, particularly on the back of my arms so was intrigued to try this alongside the Cetaphil Body Lotion which I have previously reviewed and loved.

This body wash includes skin-nourishing oils in a soap-free foaming wash that cleanses while avoiding irritation and drying of the skin. Recommended for all skin types including sensitive, dry and eczema prone skin, it claims to leave the skin feeling soft and smooth.

I definitely agree with what this claims. Even with burned skin, this does not irritate my skin but soothes and relieves the redness. It isn't left itchy either. I am unsure as to whether this is overly hydrating to the skin, as I have relied on the Cetaphil lotion for that, however my skin isn't left dry or itchy following use of this.

The body wash has hardly, if any, any scent and therefore there is no/little fragrance to irritate the skin. That being said, by having little scent it is hard to see how effective it is a washing your body and making you feel clean.

When using this you only need a small amount and even without a loofer creates lots of small soft bubbles and even more so in conjunction with a shower puff meaning the bottle should last for a long time.

My only gripe with this is the price as it is significantly higher than other products on the market that, too, do not irritate sensitive skin that is prone to eczema or that could be available on prescription. That being said, it meets all of its claims and is a great quality products for those who suffer to find products that don't irritate you just have to pay more for it.

Have you tried this?

  1. I haven't tried this but I'm super interested in the Cetaphil range for oily and sensitive skin! Only if it wasn't too expensive, I'd had gone out to pick a bottle of this to myself already
