REVIEW: MAC Soft and Gentle MSF - My Holy Grail Highlighter
14:43
I was very kindly gifted this at christmas but it is only now that I have got round to writing out a full review - how disorganised am I?
This Mineralize Skin Finish, is one of the , if not THE, most hyped Mac products in my opinion which is why I took a risk at buying this with only a finger swatch and not trialling it on my cheeks.
Fortunately my risk payed off and although, at first, I couldn't get this to work on my skin, I have found the perfect way to use this and it is now my holy grail highlighter.
The finely milled powder has small particles of shimmer that gives a beautiful bronze/ highlight to your cheek bones with the smallest amount or that can be built up to give a more intense shine. To do this I use my ELF Bronzing Brush which is a natural haired angled contour brush or I use the RT contour brush as it applies the MSF precisely to your cheeks.
As well as a highlight, I also love using this MSF as an eyeshadow too as I find it doesnt crease but is actually more long lasting and creaseproof than the 5 MAC eyeshadows that I have tried and find hard to work with.
I love this MSF and urge you to try it if you have never ventured into the depths of MAC MSFs before!
Whats your favourite highlighter?

This is my favourite too! It's such a beautiful highlight, I recently brought another MSF in med/dark and use it as a bronzer, as it's the perfect colour!
ReplyDeleteSo so lovely! :) xo
I've been wanting to try this highlighter for ages! I just can't seem to spend £22 on it though :( I thought they were £21 as well? x

It's just so gorgeous, even to look at in the pan! I love the tone of it, it looks like it would be beautiful on pale skin.
