Following the success of my last collaboration with Femme Luxe Finery, my sister Rachel wanted ‘in’ on the ‘Femme Luxe’ action and picked out a few [gifted] pieces from the website ahead of the winter months; a midi dress, mini dress, slogan t-shirt and jumper.

Outfit 1: £18.99 (Beige, Black, White, Red,Brown, Emerald)

The first item, and our favourite from the items we picked out, was the 'Black One Shoulder Ruched Slinky Midi Dress - Savannah'. You can’t go wrong with a LBD, or Midi-Black Dress in this case. Rachel picked a size 10 in the dress, but probably would have gotten away with an 8 as it’s slightly too big on her petite frame, however, I think that this particular dress is very true to size. What I love about this dress is how slinky the fabric is and how flattering it is on your curves, which are accentuated by the ruched detail on the side. Paired with stiletto heels, you’re ready for a Christmas party in this.

Outfit 2: £20.99 (Black, White, Leopard)

The next outfit features a polka dot dress that we paired with heeled boots. The 'Black Polka Dot Ruffle One Shoulder Mini Dress - Alea' dress is a size 8/10 which fits great on the arms and body, however, the length is too short and for someone with hips and a bum. Due to the cotton-like fabric, the dress fits snug around the hips and unfortunately doesn’t leave much to the imagination, even if you were to wear tights. That said, if you have more of an athletic frame, this would fit much better. 

Outfit 3: £12.99 

The next outfit features the 'Khaki Oversized Sweater Mini Dress - Ola', styled with a belt. Unfortunately, this jumper dress is far too short to be worn as a dress, despite being a size 12/14 (and Rachel a size 8/10), however, would be great for loungewear, or styled with leggings and a belt. 

Outfit 4: £3.99 (Black/ White)

The final outfit features one of Femme Luxe’s slogan t-shirts, '

White Love YaSelf Print T-Shirt - Issy'.Their website has many different styles of slogan t-shirts, which we have styled by tying the t-shirt up to give it a more flattering fit. The t-shirt is quite thin and see-through, so I’d consider sizing up in them to avoid the fabric stretching unnecessarily. Rachel is wearing a size 8/10 but definitely could have sized up in this.
