Skincare: FaceB4 Daily Cleansing Foam and FaceB4 Skincare Serum 6 WeekUpdate
10:01
Just under a month ago I wrote a review on the FaceB4 skincare range that has proved to be one of my most popular posts so I thought that I would do another update as I have been using this for 6-7 weeks now and feel that I can give a final verdict.
Face B4 Serum
In my previous update, you may have seen me mention the FaceB4 serum. I have now finished this ( In fact it was finished after a month of using it) and I have found no major difference without it as when I was using it so can save myself the £15 of buying it again. Yes it was a lovely serum and moisturised my skin leaving it soft but with my moisturiser alone (currently the La Roche Posay Repair Balme or Amie Matte Moisturiser) I can get the same result.
Face B4 Daily Cleansing Foam
Since starting using this I keep seeing numerous mentions of how foaming facial washes are no good for you and that they can dry out your skin and in turn make it more oily. This however has not stopped me from using this as I haven't had that problem, please correct me if I am wrong! I think the fact that I have kept with this face wash for 6 weeks alone is a sign that I like this product. I have found that as time has gone on ( and I have ditched my Seventeen on the Spot Foundation!) that my skin has calmed down and I have 2 active breakouts at most which is brilliant! I find this very easy to fit into my morning routine ( applying this, leaving it for a minute then removing it with a muslin cloth and following with a toner) and doesn't irritate my skin in the slightest, I actually find the foam sensation refreshing on my skin. I still can't stand the scent of this product however as long as I don't smell my hands, it is okay!
Overall I do like the face wash and it has started to show a more visible difference to my skin however I do wish that this did more for spots under the surface and scarring. I think the real sign to see if this is working will be once this has been used up so perhaps check my empties post for that!
*As revision period is in full swing you may notice posts becoming more sparse and random up until the end of June however I will endeavour to post at least every Saturday and will be on Twitter at @CosmticLover*
