Is Garnier BB Cream worth the hype?

I apologise.... I haven't blogged in what seems like forever but I thought I'd share with you my opinions on Garnier BB Cream which I have recently started loving.
The consistency of this product surprised me. As a primer/moisturizer combination, I expected this to be thin/ watery in texture. The consistency of this product is quite thick, similar to that, if not thicker, than a foundation. A little of this product goes a long way and blends effortlessly, easier than foundation.
This BB cream is available in Light and Medium, which to me is quite limited for a product. I am very fair skinned and did find that when swatching this it was quite dark in comparison to my skin. Rest assured, if I only use a little of this product, I can easily blend it to better suit my skin colour.
The finish of this product is very dewy and glowy. As someone who suffers from very dry skin, I don't often complain if something is very moisturizing or oily, but I did find that I needed to set the product with a powder as it didn't seem natural without one.
As for lasting power, this product, if used as a foundation/tinted moisturizer replacement, will not last as long but will last 5-7 hours if set with a powder.
I feel that this product reaches its claims. It's moisturizing, I leaves your skin looking and feeling health with a boosted glow.
This BB Cream RRP is £9.99 and is available in Boots and Superdrug Skincare aisles.
Hope this was helpful :D

I didnt think it would be worth the hype but I actually adore it. I wear it EVERYTIME I wear make up... I actually dont remember the last time I wore proper foundation. I have slightly oily skin and its not that great on the oily parts but nothing a bit of powder wont fix!! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat review. I've been keen to try out a BB cream!
