Mini Beauty Haul: Superdrug and Home Bargains

10:00

At the start of the week I took full advantage of Superdrug's 3 for 2 on makeup offer, which I believe has now ended, to repurchase a couple of favourites and also had a couple of other recent beauty buys that I hadn't mentioned yet on here that I thought I would add to my haul and show you today.
The first two items are from Home Bargains. The first is a 100% Tea Tree Oil which I thought I would give a try as I believe it was only £0.80 or something similar however on first using this it BURNED my skin so I have been reluctant to use this since. The other is Vie at Home Mineral Powder Foundation which I picked up for a mere £1, I believe the RRP is £12, I have not used this enough for a thorough review just yet but it has been doing the job and you can expect a review soon!
Back to Superdrug! The main reason that I chose Superdrug over Boots, aside from the 3 for 2 offer, was that I wanted to see if it had the MUA Eyeshadow Primer, unfortunately, aside from the tester, it was out of stock so I ended up opting for this instead! I have only used this once but have been very impressed with the results, especially with my MAC eyeshadows, on a hot day.

As I have recently hit pan on my Rimmel Complexion Powder, darn you sister of mine who steals it from me!, I thought I would use the 3 for 2 offer to repurchase my trusty Stay Matte powder which is AMAZING at setting your makeup, I highly recommend it! I also love the new detail on the powder.
The last makeup item that I picked up was the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I somehow managed to lose my old one at school but as I loved it so much, and as my MAC ones haven't been doing the job as well recently I thought I would try this again. I shall be painting the packaging with clear nail polish though as last time the black writing came off everywhere - not impressive!

The final thing(s) that I picked up was the Superdrug Coconut Oil. I had heard loads of people mention this and as it was on offer, 2 for £3, I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to give this a try - again, expect a post shortly!

Those were my most recent beauty purchases, Have you bought anything new recently?

  5. I think the tea tree oil burned your skin because it's 100% pure. I normally use the tea tree oil with blended oil as it is gentler to the skin and you can use it directly on your skin.
They are very good for drying/healing spots though.

  6. I love home bargains for beauty bits, I worked there for eighteen months during college and I used to find such amazing stuff. I still get my garnier toner from there now.
