New Stationary, Smiggle and Revision Tips

12:37

I don't know about you but when it comes to stationary I am a stationary geek so when an email about a new quirky Australian stationary brand coming to the UK I was more than interested to find out more!

As part of their launch, Smiggle were kind enough to send me a few of their goodies and I am in love! The gel pens have especially jazzed up my AS History mind maps (that is about the extent of my creativity!) and the headphones have also been put to good use whilst listening to Two Door Cinema Club recently (if you haven't listened to their albums, why not!?) I have also found myself converted to mechanical pencils, wonders will never cease!

Speaking of mind maps, gel pens and mechanical pencils; I thought this would be a great opportunity to share a few of my revision tips:

-Colourful notes: I don't know about you but there is nothing like bright gel pens or coloured highlighters to emphasise important information so that it sticks in your brain.

-Mind maps: Recently I have turned to mind maps more frequently as they are especially good for condensing notes down onto a couple of sides and when stuck up on your wall make for easy reference.

-Note cards: If nothing else, I swear by revision cards, especially with questions on the back. Once I have condensed my notes down I will separate them into categories and make myself quiz cards as I can easily test myself or get a friend involved to ensure that the facts are stuck in my brain.

And on that note I think I had better get on with my History notes! Have you heard of Smiggle?
