May Favourites

L’oreal True Match Foundation
I have recently loved this foundation because of its medium coverage. This is probably one of the palest shades I have seen available and matches my pale skin extremely well. I bought this not realizing it was a extremely matte finish, which I don’t usually go for, but I have been enjoying using this as it leaves with a natural flawless look, if you put the effort into working with it. I am unsure if I would repurchase this once it was done, due to its more wintery finish and the fact that it takes a lot of blending, but the non-grey colour that easily matches your skintone is definitely an attracting feature.

- Please note - 1 month later after doing this post I definately won't be repurchasing. It looks cakey and even with the smallest amount needs a lot of blending. Sorry L'oreal. -

Colourworks Shimmer Blusher

I recieved this as part of a gift set at christmas. I do not recommend the brand of this product, mainly because the quality is not that great, but I have been trying to use up the products and have been loving the pale pink colour of this blusher as it works as a great highlight.

Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Concealer

I love this type of concealer.Designed like the YSL Touche Eclat, it is great for under the eyes as it 'lightens & brightens'. It is really lightweight yet covers under eye shadows amazingly and blends really well.I definately recommend this.

Mac MSF Natural

I do not know why I haven't mentioned this before. This has been my go-to face powder since January and I love it. It has a very light coverage that can be used as a setting powder or on its own if you are having a lazy day and again.I do find that it will wear off during the day but is so easy to touch up.
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara Waterproof ( Covergirl Lash Blast equivalent)

(Apologies for the awful condition this is in!) I always end up going back to this mascara. It coats your lashes evenly and leaves you with long and volumised lashes. If you are after a long lasting waterproof mascara this one is the way to go!

Simple Kind to Eyes Make up corrector Pen

I have done a longer review on this already but I have found this really useful this month as I have been experimenting with eyeshadow looks and by using this I can clear up any errors I make.

Colourworks Eyeshadow Quad

As said earlier, this is not a brand I recommend but I have been loving the colours in this quad as they are natural and versatile. As you can see, the two paler shades have been well used and hopefully I will be able to find similar dupes from different drugstore brands.

Nivea Visage Pure & Natural Toner

Before using this I don't think I appreciated how little of my make-up was removed from make-up wipes. This toner is really gentle on the skin and will remove every trace of make-up and is gentle on your eyes too! I cannot say that it has made a difference to my spots or blemishes but has been my go-to for removing face make-up.

Simple Eye Make-up remover.

I rediscovered this when I was using my waterproof mascara. As my mascara is long lasting it can be hard to remove with wipes or the toner so more help is needed. This is great to take off the waterproof mascara and also is gentle on your eyes.

ELF Make-up Brushes

ELF Studio Powder Brush

Again, im sounding a bit repetitive now, I have been using this brush since January and am unsure why this wasn't in my previous favourites. This is great for powder and liquid products and leaves with a flawless look.

ELF Bronzing Brush

I actually use this angled brush for blush as it lets you only apply the product to a small area without fallout. I love this brush for this but wouldn't recommend this for contouring though as I don't feel it is dense enough.

Hope this is helpful. What are your faves?
