LOCKDOWN | Loungewear Favourites

Hello all. Hope that you are staying safe and well during these strange times, and most importantly, staying home where you can. Since the ‘lockdown’, I’ve had to adjust to a new routine and trying to carry on as usual as I attempt to finish my final year of university from the comforts of my home.
For the first couple of weeks of social distancing, I found myself making minimal effort with my hair and makeup, however, this week I’ve really enjoyed making an effort to do my makeup to try and feel as ‘normal’ as possible in the circumstances (and also to look half-presentable in my Zoom calls with Uni tutors & friends)
Whilst it was nice to let my hair have a break from heat and to give my skin a break from makeup, it’s amazing how much more motivated I feel when I’m suitable dressed and ready for the day.In the evenings, and during the weekends, however, I’m definitely wearing more loungewear and joggers around the house than normal, with the odds of seeing anyone outside of my household very slim.
I’m usually wearing jeans and a casual top, but lately it’s been nice to just relax a bit and lounge around in loungewear! I recently ordered another loungewear sets from Femme Luxe and two pairs of joggers that I wanted to share with you.

This is different to other loungewear sets I’ve had from FemmeLuxe in the past and would, in all honesty, have been ideal for the cooler winter months. I love the chunky knit feel of this and how bloomin’ warm it is, however, at the minute this is just too warm for this warmer weather we’ve been having in the UK. A bargain at just £19.99 This loungewear set is super comfortable and cosy to wear. I ordered it in a size 12/14 and it fits very true to size as somebody who is 12/14.

I have had 1 pair of burgundy joggers that I bought from the Primark mens sections for at least 3 years now so I was well overdue a new pair. The joggers from Femme Luxe are super high waisted, soft inside and cuffed at the bottom. I ordered these in a 10-12 and a 14 but found the fit was very similar for both sets.

I ordered them in ‘Stone’ and ‘Dark Grey’, but the stone is more of a dark beige and the dark grey more like a grey/khaki, so just something to be aware of. Both are extremely comfy to lounge in front of the tv or sitting cross legged on your bed with your laptop.
