Mini Beauty Haul: Mac, Boots and H&M

15:00

Recently I've made a few more beauty/ makeup purchases and I thought that I would share these with you today as everybody seems to love hauls!

The first purchase I made was Mac Face and Body Foundation. Ive been wanting this for ages and every time Sam and Nic of PixiWoo mentioned it, it crept further up my list.  My first impressions of this are very good.  I used this for my prom makeup and found it a great match to my 'tan', provided great buildable coverage and gave a dewey but not cakey glow.

The next thing I bought was H&M beauty sponge. Thinking it would be a cheaper alternative to the beauty blender, i thought I would give it a try to see if I prefered the finish to my RT brushes. I am still yet to properly try this so I will keep you updated!

Another product I decided to give into the hype for was the Rimmel Apocalips. In a daring mood and not owning a vivid bright pink, I opted for Apocaliptic. I love the formula so far, so creamy and glossy but I'm not entirely convinced on the colour just yet. Review to come.

The final item to feature in todays haul is The Maybelline Colour Tattoo in the shade 'on and on bronze'. This, again, has been hyped about for ages and I finally caved after spending the day doing nothing but staring at this on my lovely friend Georgia's eyes, it looked stunning on her! I have tried this a couple of times so cant really give a great judgement just yet but I hope the quality of this will meet its claims and the quality of my mac paint pot!

So that was my haul everybody! Just a small one and probably one of my last beauty ones for a while (unless I cave in the airport before I get my flight!) as I have been making a few too many makeup purchases recently!

Have you tried these? What beauty things have you bought recently?

P.S Im jetting off to sunny portugal tomorrow so have scheduled some reviews for you all in advance!

P.P.S I've been having difficulty with my blogposts recently as the body text has kept changing font in the post - any way of fixing this?

  6. Can't wait to read your review on Rimmel Apocalips. I was going to buy one in Boots but was reluctant as the colours on the tubes looked different on my skin!
On and On Bronze is such a nice colour too!
