Contouring on a budget: Natural Collection Makeup Review

10:32

Hello! At the start of February I did my monthly makeup mix up which meant that this Natural Collection Eyeshadow Duo in Mink/Sable arrived in my muji storage with aim to reach for it more frequently. As a result I have been reaching for this more frequently but not for my eyeshadow, instead for my face - as a highlight and contour/blush product.

I don't know if this is against the 'beauty rules' but this eyeshadow duo seems like a ready made contour kit for me with a champagne highlight and a light brown/damson contour/blush. Many of you may know ( and may notice from the swatch) that I am naturally very fair skinned and that most contour kits and bronzers are far too dark and un natural on my skin. This however is perfect. Both shades are not matte but have a sheen to them with very small traces of shimmer. The colour of both is easily picked up on my RT buffing brush and applies very softly and easily to your cheeks. The colour can be sheered out or easily built up to a more intense colour. I was pleasantly surprised by the lasting power of this too. I applied this combo at around 10 o clock in the morning and it was still noticeable 6 hours later where I wouldn't be able to detect this on my eyes after that much wear.

Overall I hope that it is clear that I love this little duo for my cheeks and at £1.99 each this a perfect product for those fair skinned ladies who want to add a natural flush and highlight to the cheeks.
