DIY Eyeshadow Z Palette (From the Archives)

18:41

Today I bring to you one of my more popular posts for my Friday from the archives post and one that I'm sure many of you have seen, but equally may not have seen - My DIY tutorial for How to make your own Z Palette inspired palette. Please excuse the poor quality photographs!

You will need:
An empty tin
Thin Magnets ( I used innocent magnets free with their smoothies)
Nail Glue
Scissors
Make-up in pan form ( see my post for depotting here)

First I got the magnets and cut them, or left them, so that they covered most of the make-up pan.
I then placed a small amount of nail glue, I suppose eyelash glue may work similar, onto each corner on the coloured side of the magnet and stuck it to the base of the make-up pans.
I then left the magnets to dry, for 3-4 minutes.
The make-up pans now are ready to place into the tin securely.

It is really that simple to make and I often use my DIY palette and switch around the products inside! Have you made your own Eyeshadow Palette before?

  2. I did this too! Just not with magnets but Blu-Tack and it still works pretty well. I wrote a blog post on it recently: do check it out if you have the time!
